She garnered an Oscar nomination in 2021 as Executive Producer for “Feeling Through”. Her Apple TV+ film CODA swept every category it was nominated in at the 2022 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Marlee's television career includes standout roles in series like "Seinfeld," "The West Wing," and "Law and Order SVU," earning her four Emmy nominations. Beyond entertainment, she has been a renowned advocate for diversity, inclusion, and access. She was appointed by President Clinton to the Corporation for National Service and Marlee joined President Obama at the White House in ceremonies celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Elected to the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in June 2022, Marlee's journey serves as an inspiration to many, encapsulated in her belief that "The only thing I can’t do is hear. The rest is there for the taking."
